Trim and bumpers

Can anyone recommend the best vendor for 72 wood grain trim? I’m going for the super Cheyenne look on my two tone. I’ve heard of Mar-Kay, but I’m not sure if there stuff is the same as Classic Industries, LMC, etc.

Also, looking for a recommendation of getting the bumpers re-chromed.

Re: Trim and bumpers

Here is a thread I started a little while ago on Electroplating of El Paso.

Lots of folks on the board here have used them with excellent results.

Re: Trim and bumpers

I've done 2 trucks, first one with wood grain trim from the Truck Shop. Second one with trim from Mar K and I don't think the Mar K trim is any better than others. Mar K trim needed some attention due to the vinyl not stick very well. My 2 cents.

Re: Trim and bumpers

You might want to try Rockauto for the bumpers. I have bought (2) sets of their reconditioned bumpers in the past and they have been great looking. They are rechromed original bumpers, not repops from china.

Here's a thread talking about them (mostly page 2-3). Make sure you order the premium quality (they run out of them sometimes...)
