What reared end diff gear lube for a stock 1968 Chevy C10 12 bolt rear?

What weight of differential lube do you guys use for your differentials. I need some for my 1968 Chevy C10 fleetside shortbed with a 12 bolt Chevy.

I use 75W90. If it has posi, I use Royal Purple synthetic - it doesn't require any friction modifiers.

I use Mobil 1 75W90 in both diffs (F&R) and in the t-case.

Anybody know how many quarts a C10 12bolt truck differential takes?

Roughly 2 quarts.

Offhand, about 2 or 3. [Diff capacity is not stated in my Haynes manual.] The usual procedure is to pump the gear oil into the Fill hole, until it dribbles back out.
GL-4 for normal differentials, GL-5 for limited-slip, ''Positraction'' types.
In Tucson, where it can hit 114*F on a ''nice day'' in the Summer, I use 85-130 wt.
