Reproduction console emblems?

Anyone buy the new reproduction bowtie center console emblems from that giant 67-72 "truck" parts company with a "shop" in southern california? Just curious to see how the fit and finish was.

Re: Reproduction console emblems?

I'm surprised the demand exists to reproduce these. I'd like to see those foam spacers used between the door panels and cranks reproduced.

Re: Reproduction console emblems?

I bought one and it looks nice in my opinion. The yellow Chevrolet and GMC in the pics are original.

Re: Reproduction console emblems?

I was one of the first few to buy one and the wire nuts were so strong they literally sawed through and snapped off on one the studs. I was mortified when this happened since I had paid like $50 bucks to get the damn thing here, so I called them and explained my concern was that they were likely to have more instances of the same unless they seriously reconsider the brand and strength of the nuts being provided, so I don't know if they changed suppliers or not, but they were very interested in my experience, and did send a second replacement at no charge - but i was too scared to try the hardened nuts they sent, so I used the original GM supplied ones off my old emblem and they worked perfect.

Re: Reproduction console emblems?

You guys talk about how nice this emblem is, but don't say who has them. It would be nice to share it with the rest of us.

Truck Shop. It is new so I don’t see it on their online catalog but they also sell them on eBay, which is where I bought mine.
