Leaking proportioning valve

My proportioning valve has developed a leak around the little rubber boot that covers the valve on the end of the prop. cylinder block.
This came about after I changed the front brake pads.
Is this something I can fix with a new O ring or something? I don't know too much about how these things work.

Thumbs up Re: Leaking proportioning valve

Do yourself a favor and get one without the rubber boot. I had one and it blew out coming up to a stop sign with no warning!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Yes it is aftermarket brass. Solution? Replace brass end, or the whole thing?

Call CPP tell them its their valve and you bought it from a vendor, make one up. They will send you a seal kit.
Take it apart and Figure out whats wrong with it, there must be a burr or some defect causing them to leak.

Look for one that doesn't have the button. Good insurance.

Thanks for that randy500. Lucky for me CPP is less than three miles from me.
Bad luck is that it'll have to wait as they are closed due to the virus thing.
