Leaking proportioning valve
My proportioning valve has developed a leak around the little rubber boot that covers the valve on the end of the prop. cylinder block.
This came about after I changed the front brake pads. Is this something I can fix with a new O ring or something? I don't know too much about how these things work. |

Re: Leaking proportioning valve
Do yourself a favor and get one without the rubber boot. I had one and it blew out coming up to a stop sign with no warning!

Take it apart and Figure out whats wrong with it, there must be a burr or some defect causing them to leak. |

Re: Leaking proportioning valve
Look for one that doesn't have the button. Good insurance.
