Trans Swap
I have a Power Glide I want to swap into my step side this will be a temp swap for now . Currently it has a M-20 behind a 327. Im pulling that and putting a 350/PG in while I do some work on 327. I plan on putiing that back later this year. So im looking for some advice / recomendations for a in- expensivie floor mount shifter. I have all the other necessary parts for the swap. So any help from anyone who may have experoience with this swap or advice on shifters is much appreciated truck has buddy bockets .im leaving the clutch peddle in etc. like I said this is a temp swap for a couple of diferent reasons
thanks Jess

Re: Trans Swap
Temporary, eh!
I guess you’re gonna be real gentle removing the bellhousing crossmember! Those top rivets are a bear to get at. It needs to come out for the auto trans to fit. Then you’ll need to fab a trans crossmember for the rear of the trans. |

Re: Trans Swap
Why not just pull the motor and leave the trans

Re: Trans Swap
They put powerglides behind 409’s so a 350 won’t hurt it.
