Pics? of 'Pump to carb' fuel hard line?
Anyone got a pic of a stock 'pump to carb' fuel hard line on their ride? Trying to find the right one for my 72 K10. My engine carb is a out of a 1975 truck, so I ordered one for that combo, and it was close, but not right.

This is for a 72 C10. Do you have the wrong pump? There is a short and tall pump.

Did you change the intake manifold? If you did it could be part of the problem. An aluminum intake that is higher than stock will cause the line to come up short.

Buy the fuel line and bend it your self. Not that hard to do and will be a perfect fit.

Flipped
This is the stainless line from right stuff auto detailing. If you are running the Q jet, there are a couple different ways the line can attach to the carb, manifold height (as already pointed out). Mine is the short pump, it originally had the long pump. The description for this line specifically said it was meant for the short pump. Fits perfect for the application it was designed for. I have had to give pre-bent lines some tweaking... but its worth it to me.... I hate bending lines. Last edited by wake328; 04-21-2020 at 08:55 AM. Reason: accuracy |

this is mine with the incorrect pump, the line did not reach (top to bottom) and the orientation of the fittings was different as you can see where the new line would be oriented. Ordered correct pump... perfect

Re: Pics? of 'Pump to carb' fuel hard line?
Here's a couple pics of what I've got going. Can anyone tell if I have the short or long fuel pump? Also, my pump only has 3 fittings, not 2.
I'm running a stock quadrajet. |

Re: Pics? of 'Pump to carb' fuel hard line?
No A/C.
Here's more pics. I have a right stuff tpc 7301 - meant for 73-80 small blocks with quadrajet. I thought this would be the right line because my motor and carb are a 75. It was close, but not it. Too short and wrong angle at fuel pump. I think I need either a tpc 7101 or 7002, but not sure...? |
