Body swap 60-62 on 63-66 frame
I have a restored 65 frame and drivetrain but the body is shot. I found a nice 61 body but wondered how straight forward swapping would be given the frames are different. Anyone know?

Body mounts will need to be done. The 60-62 frames are wider in most places than the 63-66

Re: Body swap 60-62 on 63-66 frame
Anyone by chance have a measurement of a 63-66 or 60-62 front body mounting hole?
From what I can find, that is the difference. I also see on the Porter built site, some inner fender modifications are needed with there front cross member set up for 60-62. I don't know if the inner fenders are different or Porterbuilt gear is different. |
