1960 Original Interior Color

My truck is in paint and I want to do the interior in the original colors. From looking at past topics it seems like the interior should be a combination of silver and charcoal but I'm not sure. Were there different color combos for different trucks? Mine is a plain Jane Pure White SWB Fleetside.

Also is everything in the cab except the dash one color? I appreciate any help.

1960 GMC factory colors, I did have the painter make the dash top a touch more glossy for ease of cleaning. FYI on the picture of the whole interior the seat belt hook in installed

Re: 1960 Original Interior Color

I think the 1960 trucks had a white column and steering wheel. It's been a while since I've seen one but I remember they had some white accents.

I know 1964 was the last year with the white steering wheel and the white column so I'm assuming the older trucks were the same way. Perhaps somebody else on here and can verify 100%

There's two 1960 trucks in a local junkyard to me. Both have Charcoal steering wheels and columns like the truck in the first link that Rocknrod posted

My wife’s 61 I just finished last fall . Went with original or as close to original interior paint . Column, wheel, dash and glove box inset were charcoal

Re: 1960 Original Interior Color

My column and wheel are both dark so I guess they are the original color.
