LMC rear bumper
So I want to order this rear bumper from LMC, but I have a leaf spring GMC and the ad says not for leaf spring trucks, as far as I can tell.
https://www.lmctruck.com/1967-72-che...72-rear-bumper Anyone have any thoughts or experience with these kits? What's different on the frame between the coil spring and leaf spring trucks? Thanks!

Re: LMC rear bumper
The bumper mounting brackets on a shortbed leaf spring truck are different than the others. The rear leaf shackle mount gets in the way.

Re: LMC rear bumper
My understanding is if the truck is a longbed the brackets should work either coil or leaf. If a shortbed leaf the 4x4 brackets work or can be made to work. Suggest you try one of the sites venders or use classic parts. Classic parts will ship quicker and shipping cost is much less. https://www.classicparts.com/1967-72...tinfo/65-348B/

Re: LMC rear bumper
Thanks guys! Since I have a longed, I'm going to give it a shot! I'll order from Classic parts then since they are cheaper on the shipping.
