How do you know if you have the brake booster rod adjusted correctly?
I installed a Tuff Stuff brake booster rod kit on my 1968 Chevy C10 which attaches to the brake pedal. I have 4wheel discs if that makes any difference.
How do you know if the brake booster rod is adjusted correctly? I have the rod located in the factory hole on the brake pedal and in fact it is the only hole. The truck was 4 wheel manual drum originally. Last edited by HeavyHauler; 06-13-2020 at 07:18 PM. |

Re: How do you know if you have the brake booster rod adjusted correctly?
You'll also need to set it correctly on the pedal assembly as well. Check this out: https://www.classicperform.com/TechB...oubleshoot.htm
I bought this tool to set it: https://www.ebay.com/itm/254608893852
