AC System Restoration
There was someone on this forum at one point who was refurbishing factory AC systems and converting them to use the current coolant. You'd ship him parts, he'd clean and repair and ship them back to you.

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=785879 Do yourself a favor and forget about 134a its just dumb to try to use that, the extra cost of adapting a adequate condensor should just be spent on R12 which is much better in that the mineral oil circulates much better and the system was designed for r12. R12 is available in ebay for about $150 or so for 4 cans which is what you will need. |
