WTB Nice, original stainless windshield trim

Looking for nice front and rear windshield stainless trim for my 72 Chevy PU. I haven’t ordered the rubber yet, so it can be deep or shallow. I’ve heard deep is easier to re-install, so maybe that would be preferred. I would like nice pieces (no aftermarket please) and would pay extra for pre-polishing if needed as I don’t have the equipment nor experience doing that. Thanks.

I have a set of deep, its real nice and i did a light polish on it to look for defects, i think here is one very tiny ding. $150 plus $60 shipping

I don’t think it was me. I know you and I have dealt before, but I don’t recall any trim discussions. Can you PM me any pictures? Will they need further polished? By “set” do you mean front and rear?

I am pretty sure I have some nice shallow sets. I will have to dig them out when I get back home.
I might even have a new gasket

Re: WTB Nice, original stainless windshield trim

Thanks for the time. Judging by the part number, that gasket is Counterparts brand. I assume the trim is shallow flanged, for 71-72, as I think that’s the gasket’s size. I already have some trim with minor dings. My set may be good on that piece and I can make a good total set from yours and mine together. Is it both L shaped pieces that have dings or just one? The top is good? My top had a bad gouge. I’ll have to look at what I have and where it’s dinged. Thanks.

Re: WTB Nice, original stainless windshield trim

Thanks. Let me take a look at my set and see if this would make a solid complete set. This isn’t a super show truck, but very close. I’m wanting the trim to be very good.

Re: WTB Nice, original stainless windshield trim

Well darn, my passenger lower is dinged up quite a bit. I’ll keep you in mind, but will have to pass for now. If anyone was following this thread and wants to jump on these two sets, feel free. Thanks again.

No worries. I will remove them from here so your ad does not get cluttered. I will post them in my own ad

Thanks
