Re: 1977 Sport @ Hemmings
The photo of the rear axle shows shiny brake lines on a black axle. Was this the way they looked from the factory? Were the brake lines installed before or after the chassis and axles were painted?
I don't mean to detract from the truck. It's definitely a beauty!

No power steering? weird considering all the other options it has.

Re: 1977 Sport @ Hemmings
I have seen C10's the opposite way. Power steering, and no power brakes. Back in the day if you wanted something you could get it.

Yup. My 79 is power steering, manual brakes. The first mile after jumping back in my late model truck is always a little jerky on the brakes.

Re: 1977 Sport @ Hemmings
Adds a little confusing. States all original then says it's been completely restored. To me all original is just that never restored. He should say restored to original . It's a real nice truck though

Re: 1977 Sport @ Hemmings
Awesome truck. My uncle had a K10 version of exact same truck. I remember one day when someone was washing it, he backed away from the location not knowing the garden hose was still wrapped around the mirror somehow. Practically ripped the whole door off. One of Chevy's best promotional/specialty trucks ever in my book.
