Heater Box Inlet Screen
Debris screen for leaves and mice. Replacement screen for underhood heater boxes on '64-'66 C Series cabs with Thrift-Air, C42 Deluxe Heater, or C60 Air Conditioning. Stainless steel screen is the same size as the galvanized steel original with 2 stainless retaining screws and 2 tinnerman nuts. Screws are identical size to original and look just like the zinc plated originals- they aren't shiny.
Seven sets are available. This is the leftover from the bunch of material just to make the one for my truck. $34 shipped to CONUS |

Re: Heater Box Inlet Screen
Many boxes had no holes for the screws. I am not sure if it was a Chevrolet vs GMC thing, model year change, assembly plant difference, or what. In that case the screens were just forced into the inlet cavity and stayed by the wire ends digging into the aluminum box. Some may have not stayed in place, and some trucks may not have gotten one at all. If you want to drill the 2 holes every box has index marks where the they go.
