WTB: single wall top dome lamp harness (1 of 2)

Hi All,

Looking for the harness that connects from the fuse box to the top where it would sit in a small panel labeled: Disconnect before removing top... or something like that.. I have the other section that connects the 2 lights down to the red male connector, rusty but will work with some cleaning up. Let me know if you have the missing item.. thanks

- A.J.

If you don't find anything, I have one the works but has the black end instead of red like original. If interested I can get you a picture next week going away for a long weekend.

THanks Rip, I will try to hold out for a red one for a bit, hopefully someones got a set... If not, I will get back with you and just to make sure they will connect, please send me a pic when you get a chance. Out here in Cali, we are still listed as High Risk so we are not allowed to travel much of anywhere for Labor Day..

Hi Rip,

I will take it but my question is, I have never seen one installed so how is it secured to the electrical plate? I am sure if you pulling or pushing the plug it is going to move a little..

Should have a pigtail coming out from the fuse box. Should look something like the one beside the brake pedal in the picture. If you have the interior lights there should be a y to plug the top onto. I can get a better picture tomorrow if that doesn't help.

No, sorry I was talking about where the connectors slip in to each other on the electrical plate attached to the top behind the driver's seat. Since the top's plug pulls out, that means something is holding the female side of the plug to keep it from popping out just not sure what it is.

Oh, there is a groove in the male plug and a lip on the female plug if I remember correctly, I can verify tomorrow. It also fits snug so you shouldn't have a problem with it falling out.
