66 Speaker mount - rig it or buy it?

Ive been looking for an underdash speaker set up and I dont know if anyone has installed these from Classic Car Stereo. If anyone has purchased and found it a fit?

The link is here to the part

https://www.classiccarstereos.com/ki...t-speaker.html

Otherwise, since I dont have any speaker under there at all and need a bracket I have seen another member of this site customize their own in a 71. Not sure if its as doable with a 66 with AC.

Re: 66 Speaker mount - rig it or buy it?

I had to fabricate a mount that replicated the original type of mount points (plate and arm that attaches to the radio housing) to accommodate the speakers.
