How to secure hubcap to rim
That’s the problem.
There are no clips, and the hubcaps were glued to the old rims with silicone RTV sealant. I was thinking about drilling two or four small holes through the hubcaps and drilling/ tapping the rim with a #10-32 screw. However, I hate to destroy the hubcaps.

Maybe you could add some clips to the wheel that will hold the hubcap in place?

https://www.stovebolt.com/ubbthreads...&Number=723557 Follow the links on this site it shows you how to use the 1/2 ton clips on 3/4 wheels. Also if you have a junk hubcap to cut up also helps place clips.

Those are clip caps. You need to screw clips to the wheel.

Those look to be the correct 61-63 clip hubcaps for your truck. Your truck did not have the original wheels on it when you bought it
