How to secure hubcap to rim
That’s the problem.
There are no clips, and the hubcaps were glued to the old rims with silicone RTV sealant. I was thinking about drilling two or four small holes through the hubcaps and drilling/ tapping the rim with a #10-32 screw. However, I hate to destroy the hubcaps.

Re: How to secure hubcap to rim
Maybe you could add some clips to the wheel that will hold the hubcap in place?

I was also thinking a machine screw would deter a thief from just popping off the hubcap.

Re: How to secure hubcap to rim
I did find this...
http://www.laroke.com/larryk4674/smo...er/hubcaps.htm Might be worth looking in to. I wonder if anyone has ever drilled their hubcaps to secure them to the rim.

https://www.stovebolt.com/ubbthreads...&Number=723557 Follow the links on this site it shows you how to use the 1/2 ton clips on 3/4 wheels. Also if you have a junk hubcap to cut up also helps place clips.

Re: How to secure hubcap to rim
Those are clip caps. You need to screw clips to the wheel.

Re: How to secure hubcap to rim
Those look to be the correct 61-63 clip hubcaps for your truck. Your truck did not have the original wheels on it when you bought it
