Trying to identify what yr seat frame this is

Can someone explain how to identify what yr seat frame i have? I've heard there are differences, trying to order new foam and cover but I don't know what exact yr the frame is. Only that its a 67-72. Cant upload pics of it for some reason, it says a security token is missing. Thank you

That generally means that the picture is too big. I size all of mine down to 1150 pixels wide.

See if this thread helps with the seat ID:

Re: Trying to identify what yr seat frame this is

Are there differences in the frame or is the cover specific to the foam?

Re: Trying to identify what yr seat frame this is

Does the seat back fold forward? or is bolted downed not fold?

http://www.americancushionind.net/pr...chevy-gmc-kit/

67-72 Chevy truck cushions came in 5 models

6″ thick molded foam bottom with molded back. (#CT6972)
6″ molded foam bottom/coil spring back with thin pad.
Coil spring bottom with thin pad/molded foam back.
Coil spring bottom and back. Thin pad on both.
Some Canadian truck seats have been reported to be 1-2″ longer than American seat frames.

Re: Trying to identify what yr seat frame this is

This thread has information on the difference in seat frames and foam. You can identify the differences by looking at the spring patterns for regular and full foam seats.
This and LockDoc's link to the seat mounts will get your seat identified. Although it is not unheard of for some one to change the mounts. Look close as there are subtle differences in the 69/70 frames and the 71/72 frames that will make identification positive.

On the "security token" Try selecting and uploading one photo, then click on and upload a second photo, and so on until you get what you want to upload or get to the 5 total. My internet is so slow that I have to do that most of the time . Sometimes I might be able to upload 2 at a time before it times out but I haven't been able to upload 5 at a time at home.
