LED instrument lights
Has anyone had any luck converting the instrument cluster lights to LED? I have been looking but I don't know what is compatible for our harness. Help please. My truck is a 70.
Thanks |

Disregard- I found them on amazon. Are these a plug and play replacement? Any other mods needed? Last edited by AllGoNoShow; 10-03-2020 at 06:01 AM. |

Re: LED instrument lights
N0 mods just take the old bulbs out of the black socket and install.

Re: LED instrument lights
LED dash lights are a nice upgrade, I've done it on a few trucks. But you will also want to consider that your original dimmer switch will no longer work with this upgrade. LED's require very little power, they will operate at the same brightness over a wide range of voltages. If you want to be able to dim your LED dash lights you will need to use a PWM (Pulse Wave Modulation) type dimmer.

Re: LED instrument lights
We upgraded my son's 69 to led. Simple, just unplug the old and plug in the new. No wiring needed and they are a lot brighter.
