West Coast mirrors
Anyone know if there is a set of west coast mirrors that use the regular mirror mounting locations on the lower portion on the door?
I'm putting a service body on my crew cab and I'm thinking a set would look alot better than the regular and I don't want to cut or weld my original doors to fill the regular mounts.

Re: West Coast mirrors
Not sure what you mean by regular mounts...but there are many different bolt patterns for west coast mirrors depending on who made em...when I got my 81, there were 13 holes in each door left by the po where all the different style wc mirrors had been bolted on and torn off over the yrs...
May not be easy to find what your looking for

I bought a set of something like "Velvac" (?) WC style mirrors that had two separate mirrors one flat and one convex so you could see between them. Had to drill new holes above and below window of course. The friction hinges wouldn't hold at highway speeds so I rigged a guy wire back to the base plate of the little factory mirror that I took off. Worked good for off roading because I could just un-do them and fold back. My big GMC had a roof mounted set of trailer toter mirrors including a roof rack. The WC mirrors were suspended from square tubing that ran clear across the top of the cab and telescoped in and out on each side.
