Trying to source rims for my brake swap...looking for a resource

Man...didnt think this would be quite such a PITA. I’m converting my 67 to power disk up front and need to swap out the rims to facilitate the rotor/caliper (my drum brake wheels wont leave enough room). I’m having a hard time sourcing some stock rims from 71 and up. Wheelsmith said they need the diameter hub-to-caliper of the kit (I don’t have the kit yet....waiting to hear back from POL) and Coker isn’t sure if their wheel would work.
I’m running 15x6 (6 lug) with the “nubs” on the outside of the inner ring for the 10” hubcaps that I’d like to keep. It would be easy if I went with steel smoothies, but man I like these stock hubcaps.
I’m gonna hit the junkyards Friday but thought I’d ask if anyone here has a good source for what I’m looking for besides Coker or Wheelsmith.

Or maybe someone has a pair they’re looking to part with.

Thanks.

Are you going 6 bolt or 5 bolt?
Slightly more important is stock height spindle or dropped spindle?

I'd like to keep it 6 lug. I'll be running stock height spindles.

Have you bought a kit yet or still researching?
I see the pol kit bumps your rims out 3/4 inch too.
Have you looked into custom built rims?

I haven’t committed to one yet, but I like the POL one. Man I wish ECE was still around. Sounds like those guys were a great company to work with.
Anyway, yes, I’ve got the dims I need from POL, so I’m going to get back with Wheelsmith today to see about getting some rims made up special.

How much time do you have to do the upgrade?
Do you want to get it driving right away or do you have plenty of time?
I’ve always tried to not get in a rush.
One thing at a time.
Hate to see you install your new kit and run into a problem like your new custom rims not fitting.
I’d install the brakes then do all my measurements for wheels.

Thumbs up Re: Trying to source rims for my brake swap...looking for a resource

Face book market place has several adds for the truck rally's.

Craigslist also.

I don't know what you liking is but the Rev wheels are nice.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Stock 6-lug Ralleys or steel wheels (71-87 4x4 spares) will clear. The Ralleys will be easier to find & flip if you need something quick w/o the pressure of committing to a 'custom' aftermarket wheel 'now'.

That being said, any aftermarket wheel (US Wheel, Wheel Vintiques, Early Wheel) for stock disc brakes should/will clear stock discs. The issue will be aftermarket/larger brake set-up clearances. Stock/OE 71-87 C/K10 D52 brake set-ups should not have any clearance issues w/a truck disc brake spec 15" wheel.

All the info is appreciated guys. I ended up scoring a decent pair on FB Marketplace for 60 bucks. And it looks like all will clear according to the dims I got from POL. Thanks!

You got pics of this ‘decent pair’?
Curious what you found.
