A buddy just bought a loooong truck.

Still needs work, but alot of the hard stuff is done. It was tight in his garage so this is the only pic i got. He just picked it up in MO. I will get more pics and info next time over.

Re: A buddy just bought a loooong truck.

Gee, I didn't know Chevy offered a crew cab in MY 1969. Sure is pretty.
Hope your friend's not into old racetrack superstions about Green being an unlucky body color. If I was driving that rig, I'd feel lucky, anyway.
More pix, please. Better yet, get him to join our Board.

Nice truck. Too bad he drinks Coors Light or else you might be tempted to go over there and help.

Why not both? Though I prefer Bud to Coors. I was a loner even back in the '70s. EVERYBODY drank Coors back then (California), except me, it would seem. Didn't keep people from poaching mine when they ran out.

That deep green makes me thirsty for Heinie in the cans.
[Canned Heinekens are better. They are kept refrigerated. Whereas the bottled pallets sometimes get left out in the sun, which overcooks the hops -- making it skunky]

Is that why it tasted so bad? I used to like it every once in awhile, but a few skunky sixers put me off it. Maybe I'll try some canned Heineken next time.

Re: A buddy just bought a loooong truck.

Louis did a sweet job on that truck. Who ever painted it did an amazing job! All the trim is air brushed on. I'm pretty sure it had a 6.0 LS if I remember correctly. I'm glad a friend of a member here bought it so we might get to see it finished.
