Badges
I know a lot of guy's on here like the stock badges and I do to but I also like to have something different some times. I was at the local yard today and picked up both sets in great condition. Plan is to install a set on the Ramp truck and a set on the 64 SS Impala maybe. I have a set on the 71 already.
The guy at the counter didn't know what to charge me for them so we agreed on $5.00 for all 4 of them. I may have to paint them with the blue lettering and under line!

Re: Badges
We in the 5th Gen Camaro world refer to them as chiclets. I’d like to see how they come out painted blue.

Re: Badges
Because of their size. Think chicklet gum from the 25 cent gum ball type machines.
As a side note: If you’ve got a Camaro with the gm badges at the lower rear corners of the front fenders, that tells you it’s an early production 2010. By about August/September of 2009 they were gone for good. Early 2010’s are the only 5th Gen Camaros to have them.

Re: Badges
If they where going on the 71 yes. But the Impala I think Blue would be a better choice. I don't know about the Ramp they may stay plain.

Re: Badges
The red set had some of the GM silver coming off that will even add to the Ramp truck look without trying to.
The 71 already has a set on it. I didn't think about painting them though. I installed them several years ago. Now I have to figure out where they will be placed on the 64 & Ramp truck. That's going to be the hard part. I'm going to post in General some pictures of the placement on the 64 to see what you think.

I thought chiclets are what you spit out in a hockey game after you catch a puck in the teeth.

It's from the Treasure of the Sierra Madre, 1948. Classic Bogart film.

Re: Badges
I had to go back over to the yard today and pick up some more mirrors. I got 4 more chicklets while I was there.
I got 7 more GM compass & temperature mirrors and another Nissan C&T with Home Link also. I love these mirrors. They look good in our trucks.

Re: Badges
I run intercom wire up the side of the windshield over to the mirror under the windshield gasket. It's barely noticeable once all in place. There are only 4 wires needed.
12volts hot, ground and the 2 temperature probe wires. The one in the pictures is my 71 C-10.
