LT series swap.

I may have to seriously down size my outgoing money due to knee issues, and if that is the case I will get something older that I want. Plus that does not infringe upon things I like to, and need to do. The vehicle I build to replace my Silverado will either be a crew cab or suburban from 73 to 91. As they can easily, and cheaply replace my crew cab silverado easily. Out side chance of a pre 75 car, and probably a 50's 4 door cruiser if I go this way.

Well the new 2.7 turbo silverado engine has me really intrigued. A person I am familiar with really likes his, and got it because he liked my LV3 4.3 V6.

I know I can swap the 4.3, and be happy with the results. Well is there any way to swap the 2.7? I have not seen anyone swap it, and it seems no one has tuned it yet either.

Also has anyone used this shifter for the 6-10 speed autos?
