Brake proportioning valve
Would a proportioning valve need to be replaced when going from manual to power brakes?
1971 c10 disc/drum Any suggestion for a replacement? |

Re: Brake proportioning valve
I wouldn't think so, it works on the principal of equal pressure (front and rear), it would be the same whether powered brakes or standard.

Re: Brake proportioning valve
Try looking it up as a Combination/Proportioning Valve. Almost any parts supplier should have them. The only difference is that most of the new ones are made out of brass. https://www.classicparts.com/1957-74...ctinfo/71-248/ Or: https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/NMAM...rtioning+valve LockDoc
