Re: Interior color with Bronze

My '71 Jimmy was Bronze, originally. The PO had it painted Maui Blue [med metallic blue]. Some clues of the original paint job exist. So it looks like the interior color was also Bronze with black vinyl trim. But this is a GMC, Custom trim level and a Blazer type rig.

Re: Interior color with Bronze

I like your bronze with white top, my K1500 is an exterior twin. My interior was parchment which I maintained with a few upgrades.
Could someone smarter than me rotate the first photo, I tried but can't get it to cooperate. Thanks

What a beautiful truck!
Parchment or black would be my choice.

Re: Interior color with Bronze

my 2 cents is that it's hard to beat parchment trim in a bronze truck

Re: Interior color with Bronze

Oldironracing, I think most would agree that ACC carpet is hard to beat, and there are several vendors that carry them. For seat covers, I think PUI is currently the best. Not sure about other interior pieces.

Re: Interior color with Bronze

I once owned a Bronze Suburban (the Bronze Beast). Parchment interior also.

I wish I hadn't sold that truck

Re: Interior color with Bronze

I really like that color, especially Oldiron's "Twist". A bit darker it would seem. And, his Rocket Igniter wheels...did you do some extra polishing around the slots?

Re: Interior color with Bronze

Parchment is tough to beat with lots of colors. It makes colors really stand out. Just tough to keep clean if used much IMO.

Re: Interior color with Bronze

The metal area between windshield and dashpad,, and defrost vents
On original trucks always match dash pad color

What color interior were you thinking of going with ?
There really are only 3 options in my opinion
Parchment, Saddle or black
Original trucks that were parchment or black would have had black dash pad
Saddle for the most part would have had tan dash pad along with that metal area you are referring to, also being saddle

No truck ever was painted bronze in that area
No matter what color interior it had
From the factory

But that doesn’t mean you can’t

Love the color.
I am going through the same process of picking an interior color for my Medium Bronze C10. Perfect thread and timing.

I went with black vinyl with saddle/black houndstooth.

Truck is painted Medium bronze. I think the paint code is 522
