fuel filler choices for rear mounted between frame gas tank???
Just wondering what ALL the choices are???
I've seen a hinged tail light that was pricey, don't remember who make it. Seen folks put it flush mounted on the top bed rail, and many others. I plan to use a Boyd Welding tank in my 67 and 68. Would like something hidden AND easy to use... THanks in advance!!! |

Re: fuel filler choices for rear mounted between frame gas tank???
Well this is limited only by your imagination. I am not familiar with your tank but you could:
- Have the fill neck in the bed - Put inside the rear wheel well - As stated behind the tail light - Behind the rear side marker - In the rear stake bed pocket - Use the original fuel filler location and run a filler hose back to the tank. Then you would have the original look but none of the sloshing gas or fumes in the cab. Just my two cents worth. Keep us posted on which direction you go.
