The requested/wanted 72 deluxe gas cap should look like this one that was sold to PDXk5 in the below linked thread, tmontg01 is after the bright polished stainless 72 double ring pressure vacuum version pictured on right, the other pictured OE used standard/painted double ring cap is still available for purchase. Would need to go dig through our back room storage totes but I think that we have another GM NOS 72 deluxe/stainless double ring cap available, will try and confirm this evening. Mel

tmontg01, good job on locating and purchasing your needed gas cap and thank you for confirming. While it's pulled out of storage, does anyone else need this deluxe GM NOS 72 stainless double ring pressure vacuum gas filler cap ***SOLD*** for their CST blazer or Cheyenne 1/2 ton truck? (Cap also fits both 1/2 & 3/4 ton 1972 Suburbans) Also, the standard/504 medium olive painted OE used 72 double ring pressure vacuum gas filler cap pictured in above post #4 is available for purchase at $65. + shipping. Thanks, Mel

Thanks Pete, and agree/confirm on the NOS stainless cap fitting the bed mounted 72 aux fuel tank filler necks, not sure on the 71 models though. Mel

***As of 03/19/21, the NOS deluxe stainless 72 cap pictured in post #5 and the OE used standard painted 72 cap pictured in post #4 are both available for purchase***
