Upper hood latch thingy.
A friend of mine needs the piece in the front bottom of the hood that the latch goes in and holds the hood together. I don't know what it's called. He has a 54 and I have an extra one from my 53 will it fit his 54? Thank you.

Well here is my 48 with a 54 hood sitting on it that fit better than the 47/53 hoods I have around here.
 I think the only difference in the hoods is the indents or lack of indents behind the hood emblem and maybe their exact location. I'm pretty sure that the panel in question is the same.
