Have a chance to get a 87 Suburban rear end.Is it feasible to consider swapping it into my 71-C20? Pros and cons.....

Re: Rearend swap
Anything can be done, but the amount of work depends on what it is. What is in your C-20 now? What is the suburban rear end? What are you gaining?
Whatever it is, you have to consider spring perches/trailing arm mounts, shock mounts, brakes, pinion yoke, gearing, rear end width, etc. I swapped a 12-bolt from a 73-80 K10 into my C10 and it wasn't too bad but does involve some work.
