What grease for distributor advance mechanism?
I've decided to rebuild an HEI for an upgrade to the old inline 6 ,so what is the correct type of grease for the advance mechanism?

Re: What grease for distributor advance mechanism?
hi Chris,i've seen lots that had none but i'm sure the factory used something?i use a dab of lubriplate or white grease on the pins and on the little round plastic buttons under the weights, although they probably are self lubricating.if you do put something there, you don't want much as it'll sling around and make a mess.Greg
