Good time at Bruce Horkey's Wood and Parts today

I drove 100 miles north today to buy some things at Bruce Horkey's Wood and Parts at Windom, Minnesota. I bought oak bed wood, front bed panel, angle strips, bed strips, cross sills, and bolt kits. It was a good experience. Those guys are fun to do business with. It was a totally laid back, no pressure environment. The guys were only concerned with helping me get the products I wanted. I only wish all buying of parts could be like this. I highly recommend them. Perhaps some of you have seen their ad in the mags. They don't take out full page but they do advertise.

I have heard nothing but good things. I have wanted to stop in for many years now but haven't. Hometown is just a little NorthEast of there so I do get in the area every once and a while

Haven't seen you on the board for awhile. Glad to see your finally gonna get some wood in that thing Dean. How about some progress pics if you have them. I take it the farming has slowed down somewhat now!

I live about 30 miles NW of Ft Dodge. My parents had a house on little Spirit Lake from '74 - '84. I used to get there quite a lot. Solver, good to have a comment from you. Haven't seen or heard from you since the car show in Storm Lake. I am having some serious medical problems with my 13 year old daughter and I haven't really been in the frame of mind to work on my project, but its therapeutic for me to try to work at it.
