Exhaust manifold choices

Hello all. Long time since my last post, just haven't had time to work on my truck. I have a 68 Short bed fleetside with a 4.8 LS in it and I'm tired of the noise and heat from the Hooker Supercomp long tubes. Been looking at Hooker 8502-3HKR cast exhaust manifolds but way too expensive. Even on sale at $477.00. I'm wondering what everyone is using? I'm thinking the maybe the Hooker Blackhearts or the Summit brand. I wanted the 8502-3HKR's because they are supposed to be a proper fit for my LS swap. Not sure the cheaper choices would clear the frame and fit without cutting stuff. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Gen 5 Camaro exhaust manifolds. You can get them for $100 or less from Camaro enthusiast sites (Camaro5.com). Heck, I even have a spare set I bought for my next project. The only issue is the connection to the exhaust pipe as they used an odd gasket setup.

Re: Exhaust manifold choices

These look decent and comes with the collectors for $225.

Summit has 2 sets of their brand of exhaust manifolds for around $220.

Here's a list of exhaust manifolds on Summit's site for LS motors.

Also read some of the reviews, since some of them mention C10s.

Thanks for the info, I'll check them out!

Thanks, I'm familiar with all the manifolds that Summit has. I know the Hooker's fit because they were made for the swap according to Holley but are the Summit brand configured the same? This is why I was asking what C10 LS swap guy's are using.
