Re: 2021 Truck of The Year (ToTY) Winner

Great choice! This is the only truck I ever saved as my desktop background. I think it was early in the year. That shade of red just pulls me in and makes me stare at it. All those forward leaning body lines are just beautiful art. The stance and the wheels are perfect too.

Congratulations Pasadena Dan! You captured the essence of the California Stepsides* that hooked me when I was in CA in the mid-70s. Nice clean stock body and trim, lowered, wheels and tires... Done! (I know these days there's a lot more to getting there)

*I say Stepside since that includes '58-'72s I also saw

Thanks! When I started I told myself I was building it to be my post-retirement daily driver so I wanted just a very clean, reliable stock appearance with mag wheels and a revised stance.

As things were being done the usual slide down the slippery slope happened and one thing led to another. But I'm very pleased with it. Thanks again to everyone for their kind comments. This forum is LOADED with beautiful trucks whether modified, restored or stockers being driven daily. Best to everyone and Happy New Year, Dan

I read your build thread and appreciated the time you took the post all that. That's a great rig, and was a very thorough build. Congratulations!
