Test Fit Champion Radiator in my '72

For anyone looking for a replacement radiator. I did some searching on the site, but no clear answer as to how this radiator fit with factory basic mounts.
'72 2WD V8 no A/C. Fits like a glove using the original factory radiator mounts. I will have to replace the lower mounts as the metal sleeve around the rubber is basically gone due to rust! Trans cooler lines line up too! Got a Champion CC369 3 Row Aluminum one. Hard to beat for $279 shipped with a lifetime warranty.

Awesome, glad to hear. It seemed when I came across this one in threads they talked about modifying the mounts because it didn't seat right and other info like that. I was impressed with how easily it went in. Also couldn't beat it for the price. Factory style ones for over $400 with a 90 day warranty. Got this one for $279 shipped and carry a lifetime warranty.

Ive got the ls one in my truck. I did do a slight trim to the bottom of the top mounts. The edges of metal mount were touching the side radiator tanks. It may never have given a problem but just to be safe.

I have had the champion in my ls powered truck for about 3 weeks now. Fit great and runs cool always,

I wonder if that radiator is slightly larger, the LS one is a 4 row right?
