Re: My old truck in a movie

Looks interesting. I am assuming the truck did not get hurt?

I remember seeing a red Chevy driven into a quarry on "Groundhog Day" with Bill Murray. I always felt bad that they destroyed that truck. (I hope my memory is correct on this. It has been awhile since I last saw the movie).

That Red Truck hit the bottom then Blew-up.

The other guy said when it hit the bottom,
He might be okay?
After it blew up, He said Probably not now.

Re: My old truck in a movie

Talking about blowing up a truck. Do you remember the episode where Tim the toolman took his Nomad to a scrap yard and they dropped a steel beam on it.

Its only a little less hurtful, but thankfully they didnt smash the Nomad. They used a regular wagon. If you do a little internet sleuthing you can see how they did it.

Haha yeah I remember that Chevy thinking "cool truck", then watching in horror as it pancaked on the floor of the rock quarry. I have always thought that somewhere in America some poor guy was thinking "hey my old truck is going to be in a movie".

Re: My old truck in a movie

B movie is right! That's cool your truck was used. Looks perfect for the role. The real deal, unlike most characters in movies . I'm glad they didn't mess it up. I hate when that happens. To moviemakers it's only money. To me it's I hope your movie flops and you go broke! . I'd say now that your truck is a screen star it deserves mention in your signature, ay?
