Wiper Arm Bolt Size?

Just Wondering If Anyone Knows The Bolt Size To Mount The Wiper Transmission Arms To The Cowl ( 4 of Them ).

The Stock Ones I Have Are Too Short For Some Reason.

Thanks

The ones you have may be twisted off. They usually do when trying to remove them. They are a special bolt that has a taper under the head, with an integral lock washer. The bolts that hold the windshield wiper motor in place are the same exact bolts, just longer. I think those may be available from parts vendors. I have some of the wiper bolts. If you can't find any Let me know and I will post them on the parts board and give you first shot at them.

Yes, good luck finding those new, unless it comes from someplace like Ecklers or maybe GMC Pauls

I had time to look this morning and Classic Parts has both the transmission screw sets and the wiper screw sets.

Thank you for the kind words. I work on these trucks and sort parts daily so It is fairly easy to keep up on most stuff. I am also on here almost every day so if I see a question I feel confidant in answering I don't hesitate to do that.
