Door switch grommets
I am trying to clean up all the wiring on the bronze blazer. I am missing the two grommets with the door switch wire goes through. They are pretty small. I have an assortment of grommets and none of them will fit. I have done a search on this forum in the Google search above and I’ve been unable to locate those little grommets.
Do any of you know a good source for the correct door switch grommets? Thanks Mark

Re: Door switch grommets
I have been trying to find these as well with no luck. I am getting ready to have the cab sandblasted and debating on just leaving them in and covering them some how! I hope someone knows somewhere to get them.

Re: Door switch grommets
These are actually plugs and I use them for electrical also. I just punch a hole in the middle for the wire(s). The smallest one is just under 5/16 at 7mm.
The size listed for each plug is the hole size. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Off topic: I'm not a fan of sandblasting. Years ago my brother-in-law blasted his 62. The sand laid in all the crevasses and it ended up rusting out the body so bad he had to replace it. It was outside at the time. He still owns the car some 40 years later. That's the beauty of soda-blasting. It washes out with water. |
