Who has the best price on a complete short bed kit

Who has the best price today ? I'm asking about the complete short bed /wood floor/ cross sills / inner fenders / tail gate , etc , Everything right down to the bed strips and bolts ? I just noticed That Summit and Mar-k Raised their prices on just the polished bed strips from about $200.00 a few months ago up to $267.00 . The polished bolt kit is $151.00 so just the strips and bolts are over $400.00 + shipping , How much has everything else increased recently .

Best prices I have seen are with NPD...I didn't see where they offer a full kit but can buy all of it individually and is cheaper....they have their bedsides at 590 each.

Well Grumpy
Southern Kentucky Classics had a short fleetside complete bed w/ metal bed for $2,550. This is the one I got and I like it. Good gauge steel and the only real issue I have was getting the inner fender well splash guards in.

You could also call CPI Trucks (334) 863-8782 and get a price from them. I looked in their catalog and didn't see any complete bed kits.

Re: Who has the best price on a complete short bed kit

I don't even know the brand I purchased. (Franks Pick um up)
I had the same splash shield issues. No way to tell if it was the bed or the shields as they were both aftermarket.
The other issue is the tail light backing, where the lights bolt to, was too far back and I had to space the tail lights to get them to look correct. Seems pretty minor in the scheme of things. Just something to look at when you pull the trigger.

They do have good pricing. However, I would look around as all their bed parts are on a waiting list, or at least they have been.

They was having issues getting them and was out of stock a few months ago on the bedsides. Hopefully they have them back now but I'm not sure. When I checked on them they had 30 sets on a waiting list for customers that had already paid.

Re: Who has the best price on a complete short bed kit

I ordered mine from Classic Industries when they had a "up to 30%" discount. This took the existing cost from 599.00 each bed side to about 499.00, not the full 30% but as the add said "up to 30%". The kicker honestly is the shipping, if you must ship! That alone was over 300.00, but i ordered the entire bed at one time, so they combined shipping and i got the up to 30% off. I just did this again little over a year ago from them again for my 1966 C10 and it was about the same price. Now days, with gas so high, i have no idea what shipping would be. just be ready for the truck freight kicker if you need to ship.
