Early grill question

Although I'm a longtime 4-5-6 fan (I've owned one of each over the past 3+ decades) I've always thought the 60-61 grills were by far the best, and I finally scored one to put on my 65. Unfortunately it's missing the headlight bezels. (I'm hoping to find some on this forum). My question is, are the 60 and 61 parts the same, or are they interchangeable? Obviously year correct doesn't matter, I just want it to work. Also, what's the cleanest way to address the wiring issues, I hate harnesses with a bunch of splices. Can I just order the early harness and plug and play?
Thanks for any and all help on this,
Tom

Re: Early grill question

The 60 and 61 bezels are the same. The difference will be if they are painted steel, chrome, or the uncommon aluminum versions.

On the wiring, you can order a new harness built to factory specs.
I used this company on my fuse block: http://www.wiringharness.com/
But there's also this one I found: https://www.classicparts.com/1960-61...ctinfo/52-561/

Re: Early grill question

Thanks for the info CC. Would be a drag to buy some and have them not work when they arrived
