Very preliminary carpet test fit & color
Well I did a rough fit up of the cab carpet to see how everything looked together. Just not sure if the carpet color works or not. I am opening myself up but what do you think?

Lay the carpet out in the driveway on a sunny day and the wrinkles will go away . Color wise are you happy with it ? that's all that matters .

I think it looks good. Were you hoping for something closer to the seat covers in color?

Re: Very preliminary carpet test fit & color
Are you trying for saddle in color? I ordered a dark saddle and when I installed it, it was more orange. I sent it back and got light brown. It's alot closer to dark saddle. Their samples are no where near the same as the carpet they send you. I can't afford the shipping cost to try more colors.

I like it. I'm thinking of doing something very similar with my med blue truck that currently has all blue interior.

Re: Very preliminary carpet test fit & color
My daughter picked it out for me. With me being color blind it complicates things a bit. So when I pick colors out things normally get a bit crazy. To me the carpet looks like a burnt bronze.

Re: Very preliminary carpet test fit & color
What really matters is "Does it work for you"
Me, IMHO, Resale matters down the road. I would want something to go along with the nice gauge assembly you have lit up. I would not have noticed that if it was not in the on position. Lighting in and outdoor environment would matter also, and are there any parts on the exterior that blend with the current color. Just some thoughts. |

Re: Very preliminary carpet test fit & color
Toolboxchev, I'm not so concerned on resale as it will be handed down to my grandson at some point. As for colors the saddle brown is only in the interior. As for the grey I have that on the seat belts, rims, vent window frames, engine compartment and brake and gas pedals. Chrome is where you would expect it to be as well as the black.
Daughter let me know she liked the color of the carpet. Guess I will keep it for now.
