are 1967-1972 bodys all the same?
i have a 1972 chev 4x4 lwb rolling chassis. will 1967-1972 truck body styles bolt right up to existing body mount brackets on frame? will a 2wd body work?

for the 67 and 68 front clip.... you have to have the complete clip... ie radiator support hood grill and fenders for it to work. cabs are same except for the high hump and low hump. you might need to look into that. and beds are all mount the same. only difference in beds is that 67 had no marker lights...

yes, it should work. 1/2 , 3/4 , 1 ton bodys are all the same. The 67-68 have different fenders and hood. but i believe the body mounts should all be the same, 2wd or 4wd.

Roy, you have a 4x4 so you need a high hump cab. The floor will hit the transfer case otherwise.

You can cut the low hump out of a low hump cab and bolt a high hump into it.

The body mounts are not all the same...the 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive has one style, all others have the other style.

The Cabs are the same except that the 2wd Small Bloack trucks have the low hump. The Big block trucks regardless of 2wd or 4wd have the high hump. All 4wd trucks have the large hump. The low hump is non removable from what I hear. Both my blazer and 68 gmc 3/4 ton with 396 have the large humps. I think the difference is 2 inches high versus 4 inches high.

Nothing is nonremovable with the right tools.
