Wow, that's not obvious, the keys hanging out of the door lock!

Better to leave them is an inconspicous place like the ignition.

I bet your parents are pretty upset. At least a car that new will probably have full coverage insurance.

You got to look at the bright side.

It's probably over the border by now.

Not to be a spoil sport. My son't truck got stolen. Police said they usually show up in about 3 days. His did. Burnt. No wheels/tires. Bullet holes in the body. He managed to P.O. some gangsta wannabees when he told them to leave our driveway. I gave a phone number to the P.D., that one of them (one of my youngest daughter's "boy friend"), that had been called before they showed up to pick up the boy. Nothing ever happened. There was so much corruption in the drug task force ops in our home area, that no amount of info would have mattered.

In my opinion, just resort to Willie's* adage in "Whiskey for My Men, Beer for My Horses" and get a rope and hang 'em from a high oak tree...for all the world to see.

Good luck.

*TXFirefighter corrected me on this. I knew it was "Nellie Wilson" and Toby Keith

the car was stolen in downtown. thats like a half hour from where we live. so we'll probably never run into the car way out here... we hope we get the car back. if the car doesnt get returned we may end up fixing a FORD!!!! we have sitting in our yard with a blown headgasket (stupid 3.8) for my sister to drive. it was her first car and we parked it after thousands repairing it and the head gaskets going...

if you see this car email me dinnut@earthlink.net
pm me
call me 281 261 0543

if my truck was up and running and i had my license i would be downtown searching for it. but unfortunately my truck is not running right this second because the wiring is all tore out and not inspected and not insured and i dont have my license and im sure my mom doesnt want to go searching for it. she is scared of downtown... she had some bad experiences when she first moved down here. i wish i could go looking in the daylight

I feel your pain, my '72 cheyenne was stolen in 1990, and about once a year the police dept calls me and ask if I have found it, I say no, have you?, not to be a pestomist, but you will probably never see it again, and if you do it will more than likely be totaled. good luck!

im only 16 and will have my license in march. we dont see too many cavaliers exactly like it. there are several scratches on the drivers door we could identify it by if we had to. right now we are trying to figure out what to do. i hope we see it again, but if we dont we are going to be forced to fix the thunderbird and make it drivable again.
