15801 Paint Code
Stumbled across another thread where another person has the same question, didn't realize it was in the welcome area...
Anyways, I've got 15801 stamped on the trim tag for the paint code. It's not any paint code I know for a '65 Suburban. Any ideas what it means? The truck is currently in an old coat of primer grey, what's left of what I assume is the original paint looks like a very faded red, which would be 514. Interior paint in picture is different than this faded red I'm referring too. |

I'm not so sure the interior paint is OEM.

Yeah, the interior paint is certainly not OEM. You can find bits of Fawn underneath the heavily blasted red. Some previous owner along the way absolutely doused the interior with red.
