Interior pics!!!!
I’m starting to think of how I’m gonna finish off the interior of my 56. I’d love some inspirational photos. I plan on having a center console between the bucket seats. And some type of upholstered door panels. Here’s what I’m working with so far.

Re: Interior pics!!!!
not sure of your plans for door panels but an arm rest incorporated into the panel is nice. installed at the same height as the one on the console, if you plan that.

Re: Interior pics!!!!
for a door pull and arm rest combined you may try a walk through at the wrecking yard. some easily unbolt. also check for a console from a minivan as they also have a fairly flat floor. or build one I guess.

Re: Interior pics!!!!
if building a console try to incorporate some of the things you like in a new truck. a storage area with a padded top and possibly a depression in the lid so you can put your phone or the gas reciept on there etc. a lit12v cig lighter style power supply or a usb style power supply so you can charge your phone etc and also find it in the dark. some lights that shine on the floor but not in your eyes. a drink holder. possibly a pocket on the side for small items.
just some thoughts |

That is one good looking interior Carbbuff382. Everything works together as one complete package. Well Done.

Re: Interior pics!!!!
I saw this one yesterday. The owner wasn't around to ask what the seat started out in but outside of the industrial fabric it just has a great fit and look in the truck. Note that the seat backs don't sit so high that they look out of place and as a bench with a fold down arm rest you can sit three people if you need to or it is a very comfortable seat for two with the armrest down. Plus it looks like it belongs there rather than being stuck there.

Re: Interior pics!!!!
I really like that setup Black Sheep, It's super classy and everything in that interior works together as one unit. You even got the perfect steering wheel for that total look rather than the gaudiest one in O'Reilly's the day it came to steering wheel buying as too many guys do. That interior is worthy of being in the prime spot area at Lone Star Roundup.

Re: Interior pics!!!!
Thanks. It's definitely my plan to do my door panels like that leaving my dark red raised areas on the door panels to come through the light beige of my interior the same way.
I have procrastinated now for a few years (eek). First because of the pandemic quarantine and later out of plain laziness. REALLY need to take the truck back to the upholsterer that did the seat. Need carpet and headliner too.

Re: Interior pics!!!!
Black sheep—- where’d you get that chrome trim piece on your door panels? I was thinking of something similar for mine. Yours looks amazing by the way.
