I'm Baaack,.. sorta
It's been a while since I've been here. Our all original 71 C10 was t-boned and totaled on election day. (Guess that was an omen about what was coming down the pike)! Thought I was done, but nooooooo.......
I am acquiring a 1963 C10 with the high torque 230 motor. To start off,...what oil do you guys recommend using? Any other quirks that I might encounter with this motor? Thanks. Jack |

Man, bummer on the 71, but welcome to the 60-66 side of life. Please post up some pictures of the 63 when you get a chance.
On the oil, whatever flavor of 10-30 would be just fine in that motor. Just make sure you add some zinc. If you want to, you could use some 10-30 diesel oil that has zinc already in it
