It's about to get expensive

My 95 GMC K2500 has had a hum in the rear and I've been putting it off Thinking I'm not driving anywhere but around town so I'll wait to change them out when I have time , Well this past few days the weather looked good for the week 70's and sunny , So I ordered bearings and seals , and while I had it apart I thought i may as well throw in some new brake shoes and ordered those also . I'm thinking a 1-2 day project .

Then I found this mess , Rusty internals , worn axle splines on both axles , And it seems the 95 GMC K2500 is basically a one year truck with the 9.5/ 14 bolt Gov-Loc 80 posi 6 lug and replacement Yukon axles are about $260.00 each + studs and new C clips / Koyo bearings and seals another $175.00 AC Delco gold brakes another $60.00 wheel cylinders and hardware kits another $60-75.00 And it doesn't end there My michelin tires are showing some small cracks even tho they have plenty of tread left on them .So theres another $1,200.00 and while i'm at it I may as well do the front brakes .
