Corvette IRS --> 67-72?

I'm wondering if anyone's ever done this sort of swap...I was looking thru a few back issues of Custom Classic Truck and they took a vintage F-word big window and put corvette IRS and IFS in it to improve handling (further proof that built ford tough is best done with chevy stuff IMHO). Just curious if anyone on this board or about the internet has done it cause it is something I've considered...links?

I think the IRS/IFS you're talking about came from a C4 chassis (84-96) which is a very common platform for streetrods.

Yes I remember seeing a sweet Red 67-68 with a full tube chassis and corvette IRS. It was in an issue of either Street Trucks or Truckin'...about a year ago?

There was an 80's truck on eBay with the vette rear suspension. I have a Vette rear thats headed for my 69 Camaro (eventually).

The older IRS looks easier to install then the 84-86 that I have.
