Firewall/gas pedal bumper

Does anyone know where I can find the rubber part or whatever goes in this rectangle hole? It lines up with the gas pedal so I'm assuming it is for tjat but I can't find anything on it. Lmc and others don't show anything in that spot. 67 C10

Re: Firewall/gas pedal bumper

I welded mine up on my 67 because it was unused. I looked at a few diagrams and none of them have them listed as to what it actually is. maybe an e-brake grommet can fit?

Re: Firewall/gas pedal bumper

You might try having your thread moved to the truck side. More eyes to see it than here in the lonely Suburban side and the pick-ups will use the same parts. Ask a moderator to move it.
I don't know for sure but it may be one of those 1967 only things. If so you might get lucky looking in the 60-66 parts catalogs.

And welcome aboard. We would love to see more of your Burban or Panel. Hard to be sure of much, except the nice blue paint, from the photo.
