A/C Evaporator Box Fastener ID
Is this fastener anything more than a 1/4-20 x 2” hex head bolt that is inserted from the inside of the cab?
I’m referring to the threaded fastener that comes through the firewall, then through a spacer, and then through the fiberglass evap box. I have what I think is the remnant of one of these, but its head has rusted off so I’m not sure what’s actually on the other side of the firewall.

Perfect—thank you, Larry! I have that screw in my pile, too. I think the rusty 1/4-20 must be a stud from the bottom of the old heater box.
